This seminar brought together worldwide members of the sales team of an important medical supply company.
The participants all emerged on the airport in Florence where we had the entire Hilton Metropole on an exclusive basis for the seminar – a hotel that perfectly fit the need for the plenary session as well as the numerous workshops and role play sales sessions organized during the event.
Leonardo da Vinci and innovation was the theme running through the entire event. The guests were immediately, upon arrival in Florence, set to a challenge of their sports abilities in a friendly soccer tournament held at the local stadium. Teams were organized by country and they chose their players, fans and cheerleaders! Adrenaline was pumping as the teams fought for victory – with music and dancing throughout.
The setting for the second night was a charming 18th century Florentine theater where the executives of the company put on a show for all 220 people.
The greatly anticipated third day was dedicated to a rally along the small winding roads of the Chianti region. Divided into 16 teams, each with minivan – and yes, driver – the participants followed off the beaten path routes enjoying wine tastings, cheese tastings, quizzes and scavenger hunts and in addition had to purchase the best local products of the region. Each team was assigned a different product to buy and when they returned to the hotel, it was a true party.
The winning team – based on their creativity, was announced at the once in a lifetime gala dinner given at the city’s prestigious Palazzo Corsini. With enough energy left to dance the night away, the guests returned to the hotel in the early morning.
