Upon arrival at Venice airport, the guests were transported directly to St Mark’s Square by private boat. Dinner in a typical Venetian restaurant was preceded by an aperitif at Caffè Florian.
While work occupied most of the participants time, they did find time for some entertainment. Everyone decorated their own Carnival masks which they used as part of their costume for the evening’s special gourmet gala dinner held in a Venetian palace on the Grand Canal. And they managed to enjoy lunch in Santo Stefano – one of Venice’s “off the beaten track” neighborhoods.
Before departing for the airport on the final day, our guests had the opportunity to visit Burano Island, enjoy lunch and stop at one of the most prestigious glass factories in Murano.
